The Lanzavecchia family is surrounded by the peace of their vineyards stretching out along the western slopes of the Serralunga d’Alba hills – an area that produces exceptional wines. The family’s love and respect for the land is evident in their quest to maintain the integrity and sustainability of the soil on which they were raised and the winemaking traditions their ancestors passed down to them. The Lanzavecchia family welcomes visitors to the Tenuta Cappallotto guesthouse – the ideal place to taste Villadoria wines – originally a hunting-lodge which belonged to the House of Savoy.

Since 1959, the history of Villadoria is inspired by the values of passion and commitment. The dream of the founders Pietro Lanzavecchia and his wife Pietrina, to make wines famous in Italy and abroad, was held on by the generations which followed. Nowadays, is the fourth generation, Paola, graduated in Agriculture from the University of Turin and specialised in wine growing and oenology, who continues to make delicious wines to ensure the dream of the founders can be renewed every single day. Her father Daniele accompanies her in this adventures by sharing his knowledge and that of their ancestors with her.
