This wine is unique! A dream come true. Fermented in a clay amphora coming from the far East, this fascinating wine opens with seductive aromas. A honeyed note ends the lingering finish. Simply exceptional.

Vinification is surprising for this unique wine. It takes place in 470 liter Georgian amphora (kvevri) without the addition of selected yeasts and without temperature control. Maceration: 70 to 120 days (depending on the vintage).

Intense straw yellow.

This fascinating wine opens your nose with seductive aromas of dried yellow stone fruits, baking spices, aromatic herbs, yellow flowers. It ends with a balsamic note.

In the mounth you can experience apricots, yellow peaches, nectarine zest, as well as touch of crystallized ginger and mineral flint. The acidity brings balance to the overall taste.

Grapes 100% Albana.

Area  The vineyards are all exposed to the south. The soil is clayey with the presence of pebbles. In fact, it is a real microcosm in which there are different types of soil.

Serving suggestions Serve at 12-14°C.  Enjoy it with your fish dishes, white meats or medium-aged cheeses.

We are what we… drink”, this is what Thea and Sergio Navacchia thought when in the ’70 they created the winemaker Tre Monti. Especially because their roots where on the same soil where the roots of their vines grew. Their sons David and Vittorio, decided, when their dear mum Thea passed away, that making wine would have been their mission in life!  The history of the winemaker Tre Monti is the history of a family passion.

The farm consists of two different estates, on the hills in Emilia Romagna (Northern Italy). The overall surface covers about 50 hectares, all planted with vines. The zoning of the estates (1999) has highlighted a great range of compositions even within the same plot. This made a further subdivision into micro-zones mandatory. The detailed knowledge of the soils has allowed the planting of more compatible variety with every single specificity. The results are quite telling in terms of quality and richness and in the diversity of grapes obtained.

“Emilia-Romagna, is a region well known for its cars, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini. But it is also appreciated for its cuisine which offers an impressive number of pasta, cheese, and cold meats specialties. Emilia-Romagna is an Italian region that also offers remarkable wines. “
